just a note ,now I'm awake . I'm just back in from New York, ground zero . as an EMT and firefighter.  I was also used for heavy equipment .  I was astounded to find the destruction there, the loss is unimaginable,  even when you see it up close .

I went to viet nam in 1967, and was there until 1972, and cant even compare the destruction .  The loss of life and the devastation leaves the big Eagle with out  words, I have been through it all (so I thought ) I started to snap some pictures, but I stopped out of respect to the, oh hell I dont know why, I felt wrong taking pictures .  I was doing search and rescue, I didn't do it for back slaps or glory, hell dem days is over.  I really dont want this published, at least not with my name, I'm not looking for any recognition, just wanted to spout off a bit I guess , this will stay with me a long long time .

I was in New York Tuesday night ,and got home at 6:30 am today , the last time I saw anything like that was when my 2nd ex-wife left me (em and my warped sense of humor ) dark humor ,another side effect of doing our jobs .
